Search Mission Statement:

For Map My Customers to continue to scale at its current rate and become a $100M+ ARR company, strong marketing leadership is absolutely critical at the top of our organization.

As our VP of Marketing, you will be the architect and driver of our demand generation strategy. Your primary objective: build a predictable pipeline to fuel sales growth. While there will be creative and content milestones that will need to be achieved, this leadership role is meant to be focused on owning the pipeline and building the metrics and programming around pipeline.

You’ll own strategy and execution across demand generation, product marketing, event marketing, brand, content, and customer marketing. Our ideal candidate will have helped his/her prior company(ies) scale from $5–10M in revenue to $25M+—and know how to build a high-performance marketing organization that drives results.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute scalable, multi-channel demand gen programs to meet and exceed pipeline and revenue goals
  • Build out paid and organic campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, ABM platforms, and events
  • Implement a metrics-driven approach to pipeline attribution, campaign ROI, and marketing spend efficiency
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to align on ICP, messaging, MQL/SQL handoff, and nurture programs
  • Partnering with our current Marketing/Sales Ops lead, evaluate and manage reporting within the MarTech stack
  • Lead positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation that resonates with our ideal customer profile
  • Develop a content strategy that educates buyers and accelerates the sales cycle (blogs, webinars, guides, case studies)
  • Create customer advocacy, testimonial, and referral programs to support social proof and expansion revenue
  • Collaborate with CS to drive upsell, cross-sell, and retention through lifecycle campaigns
  • Build and lead a lean, high-performing team (in-house + agency/freelance mix)
  • Set clear goals, develop KPIs, and build a performance-driven culture
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on company-level planning, budgeting, and growth strategy

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • 5–10+ years of progressive B2B SaaS marketing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a VP or senior leadership role
  • Proven track record scaling pipeline and revenue from ~$5M to $25M+
  • Deep expertise in demand generation, pipeline attribution, and sales-marketing alignment
  • Hands-on and strategic—you can both build the plan and run the programs and campaigns
  • Strong analytical mindset with a test-and-learn approach
  • Executive-level experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Clay, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads)
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator

Helpful, but Not Required

  • Experience in our ICP field sales-driven environments
  • Raleigh and/or NYC based
