Second Nature is seeking a Director of Partner Marketing to lead the joint marketing strategy and execution for our strategic partnerships. This role is ideal for a marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and influence-someone who can drive results without direct authority, build trusted relationships across organizations, and deliver high-impact B2B marketing campaigns that move the needle.

This role is not about managing the partnerships as a whole, it’s about being the marketing engine behind them. You'll work hand-in-hand with your counterparts at our partner companies to co-develop and execute a joint annual marketing plan that drives demand and pipeline through their marketing channels and programs. Internally, you'll be the go-to partner marketing lead, coordinating cross-functional efforts across teams and ensuring the partnerships are supported with best-in-class campaigns, content, and collaboration.

📝 What You'll Do

  • Joint Planning & Campaign Execution

    • Co-develop annual marketing plans with leadership at partner companies to drive pipeline through partner channels.

    • Lead joint campaign development across shared teams - some campaigns will be self-led, others supported by internal or partner-side resources.

    • Oversee execution of partner marketing campaigns, including:

      • Campaign planning and calendar management

      • Audience segmentation and persona development

      • Messaging and value prop design

      • Channel strategy and activation

      • Content development, co-branding, and approvals

      • Measurement and optimization

  • Relationship Management & Strategic Influence

    • Build trusted relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.

    • Align priorities and mobilize cross-functional resources without direct authority.

    • Act as the primary marketing point of contact for partner companies.

  • Performance Tracking & Reporting

    • Define and manage quarterly KPIs (leads, engagement, pipeline, conversion).

    • Analyze campaign performance and make data-informed recommendations.

    • Report progress and insights to both internal and partner stakeholders.

  • Campaign Quality & Operational Excellence

    • Ensure campaigns meet quality standards across brand, audience, and partner expectations.

    • Coordinate inputs from internal teams, agencies, and partners.

    • Maintain consistency in messaging, creative, and go-to-market execution.

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Build credibility with internal teams, leadership, and partner stakeholders.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership Without Authority: Proven ability to influence and mobilize people who do not report directly to them.

  • Joint GTM Planning & Execution: Skilled in building co-marketing plans that drive pipeline, with deep knowledge of referral, reseller, and digital-led GTM motions.

  • Integrated Campaign Management: Experienced in planning and executing full-funnel B2B campaigns, with sound judgment on when to lead directly or coordinate execution with partner teams.

  • Marketing Performance Analysis & Reporting: Able to define, track, and report on KPIs (leads, engagement, pipeline contribution, ARR).

  • Content & Messaging Quality Control: High standards for brand alignment, co-branded asset development, and campaign messaging.

  • Executive Communication & Stakeholder Alignment: Present insights and progress in a clear, structured way to senior stakeholders.

  • Customer-Centric Thinking: Center messaging and campaign strategies around property manager and resident needs.

📌 About You

  • 7–10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a strong track record in partner marketing.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and partner stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Deep understanding of effective B2B marketing campaign execution—from strategy through measurement.

  • Skilled in developing audience personas, mapping customer journeys, crafting messaging and executing upon campaigns.

  • Experience developing integrated marketing plans that drive measurable pipeline impact.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills—able to juggle multiple moving parts while delivering against deadlines.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot), CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and campaign analytics tools.
