📝 About the Role
The Vice President, Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategies and driving revenue through direct sales and a partner distribution channel at Second Nature. You will lead a dynamic team of 50+ including 5-7 leaders across Sales Development, Mid-Market, Enterprise, and GTM Partner Strategy while preparing for additional scale. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in sales leadership with deep expertise in a high-velocity, high volume, B2B SaaS motion. This role reports directly to the CRO.
📌 What You'll Do
Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and drive field sales strategies that consistently deliver on revenue targets.
Culture & Leadership: Embody Second Nature values, foster an inclusive, high-performing culture, and inspire accountability across the team.
Strategic Alignment: Connect corporate strategy with sales execution, ensuring buy-in and alignment across commercial teams.
Market & Customer Insight: Deep understanding of Second Nature’s ICP and the Single Family and Multi-Family markets, with the ability to anticipate and respond to industry trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships and collaborate with Marketing, Product, RevOps, Onboarding, and Client Success to ensure seamless handoffs and customer experience.
Drive Stellar Results: Exceed revenue targets through effective execution of a direct sales motion and effective leverage of partner distribution channel.
Coaching & Talent Development: Proactively develop sales talent through effective coaching, hiring, and continuous improvement.
Sales Process Management: Execute disciplined, data-driven sales processes focused on pipeline creation, inspection, and forecasting accuracy.
Accountability & Communication: Hold teams accountable with clear expectations, candid feedback, and consistent communication.
Brand & Market Presence: Represent Second Nature at conferences and tradeshows to strengthen brand visibility and drive market share.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics, CRM systems, and other tools to identify trends, measure performance, and make informed decisions.
📝 Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of sales leadership experience in a vertical SaaS environment
5+ years of strategic planning and business development experience
5+ years experience with property technology and services
Ability to demonstrate high performing sales achievements and the management of high performing teams
Proficient with Salesforce
Knowledge of property management software like Propertyware, Buildium, Yardi, AppFolio, Rent Manager, etc.
